Covid-19 pandemic is still going on. The COVID-19 pandemic has put seafarers around the world in a very difficult  situations. Travel restrictions mean some cannot leave their ships, be repatriated home, or even get urgent medical assistance. Other seafarers have seen their contracts unilaterally terminated or have been quarantined on board ships for more than 14 days, without getting paid.

The good news is coming as some American Sea Cruise  lines are starting their Tourism Cruise line and the  crew staff has started coming back to join the duties. They have to be certified as medically fit before they rejoin the duty.

They have to sign the declaration form if they have the following conditions. These conditions include: Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, Obesity, Chronic Kidney Disease, Liver Disease (Fatty liver, Hepatitis, Cirrhosis), serious Heart Conditions (history of Heart Failure, Coronary Artery Disease, Cardiomyopathies or Pulmonary Hypertension), Chronic Lung Diseases (Asthma, COPD, Emphysema and Chronic Bronchitis), Smoking, Cancer, and conditions that impair the Immune System (i.e. HIV, and certain steroid medications).

All precautions need to be taken during the onboard ship duty.

Any other information in this regards, I shall be more then happy to answer at the earliest.
